Dropship for ATO models

 Is there any good documentation on dropship for ATO models (BUY) in a outsourced environment?

Sales order from the customer will trigger PO's to Cntract Manufacturer to build and ship to the customer. The item is a ATO model with mandatory components, option classes and options (configurable CTO)

I would also like to know about forecast consumption of models and option items assuming ASCP will be used?
