Unable to open templates in Form Configurator

Hi
I have copied a seeded template and I cannot open it with the Form Configurator designer. I have associated the template with a function and attached it to a menu and it works. However when I try to open the template with the forms configurator and try to expand the tree I get a whole lot of error messages. The first one is FRM-40105:Unable to resolve reference to item TEMPLATES.TEMPLATE_NAME and that is followed by a FRM-41056: cannot find Block invalid id and a FRM-41045:cannot find item invalid id. I suspect there maybe a setup missing but I am not
