FNDCPASS doubts

I want to change the password in Oracle apps 11i . I have gone through the note

159244.1 How To Use FNDCPASS to Change The Oracle Users, APPS, APPLSYS and Application Module Passwords (INV, AR, AP, etc.) For Applications 11.5 in Unix

I have certain doubts in the same document.

NOTE 1: FNDCPASS should be run from the database tier to prevent encryption issues.

We have two nodes

Machine1:PRODDB
osusers:applprod(CM,Ad server),oraprod(Database)

Machine2:PRODAPPS
osuser:applprod(Forms)

Which OS user i should login as for running fndcpass?

NOTE 3: Altering the ORACLE User name (schemas) passwords with FNDCPASS without first updating the APPS/APPLSYS password with FNDCPASS will cause the ORACLE User password to be undecodable by Applications.

Howdy, Stranger!
