Can I apply a credit memo of USD currency to debit memo of INR

 Hi Friends,
Can I apply a credit memo of USD currency to debit memo of INR. If so can you please advise me how to do it. I have taken a credit memo of USD  to apply to debit memo of INR, but i could not see the debit memo  of INR in the LOV, I can only see Debit memo of USD. Is this provision availabale ?
