Multiple Oracle Home On Unix Server

Hi,
I have oracle 9i and 11g installed on the same Unix machine. Right now 11g is running there. What should I do if I want to run the 9i database? Do I just need to change the environment variables point to the Oracle 9i Release directory?

-ORACLE_BASE
-ORACLE_HOME
