Do we need to apply CRS Recommended Patch Bundle to ASM home for single instance non-RAC with ASM?

Hi,
Since ASM instance uses CSS to monitor RDBMS and ASM instances, do we need to apply the CRS recommended patch bundle (#3) to ASM home for a non-RAC environment that uses ASM?  We are currently on 10.2.0.4., platform AIX.
