RMAN cold database backup does not include log files?

 Hi Everyone,
Just realized that my RMAN cold database backup does not include log files. I could restore and recover database if one particular db file is corrupted, but when I delete all database files, I can restore the control file and then restore database, but without automatically restoring all log files, the database will not open. How can I have the backup to include log files?
