ORA-19816 ORA-15041 ORA-19504 ORA-16014

Despite having plenty of reclaimable free space in the fra, we occasionally receieve the errors below. I then have to manually delete archived logs that have been backed up to tape via an backup recovery area command.  Any thoughts?

Note: log_archive_dest_1 string LOCATION=USE_DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST

ORA-19816: WARNING: Files may exist in db_recovery_file_dest that are not known to database.

ORA-17502: ksfdcre:4 Failed to create file +DGROUP2

ORA-15041: diskgroup space exhausted

ORA-19504: failed to create file "+DGROUP2"
