report variance % incorrect

  Currently use Oracle 11i which generates the financial statements in Excel via an older version of ADI.  The formula in the Oracle row set uses (Enter) Variance Percentage / by Budget for current period. Not sure if a marco needs to be written in Excel to fix? New to this so please let me know if you need more info.  Thanks.

The % variance calculation is reversing the sign whenever the denominator (either goal or prior year amount) is a negative number. 

For instance:

Current calculation                               (10)                               (20)                               10                                 (50%)

Proper calculation                                (10)                               (20)                               10                                 50%
