DPIS Older than the Oldest DPIS at System control

 Hi

  We are having leasehold land with a lease of 99 years .The lease starting date is from 1971 but the oldest DPIS at the System Control is 01-APR-1995.We have to amortize this 1971 asset but as we know the standard Functionality that the DPIS of an Assets can not be older than 01-APR-1995 in our cases.

Is there any work around to amortize this Assets with DPIS 01-APR-1971.
