Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Is CRS required to install Oracle RAC on AIX 6.1 and HACMP 5.4 or is the pathc required even though CRS is not used?

Requires a minimum of Oracle 10.2.0.3 plus CRS bundle patch 6160398 (or newer)and rootpre.sh patch 6718715 is required when using HACMP 5.4.1 with a fresh install of Oracle RAC clusterware or when upgrading from Oracle 10gR1 to Oracle 10gR2
