Can we add HP-UX(Itanium) Node to existing HP-UX(PA-RISC) Nodes running Oracle 10g R2 RAC?

Hi,

We have implemented a two node Oracle 10g R2 RAC on HP-UX (PA-RISC) Servers running HP-UX 11.23. We have 4 Oracle 10g R2 RAC databases in Produciton.

Now we want to add a third node.

Since HP-UX(PA-RISC) severs are not available and HP is shipping only HP-UX (Itanium) servers, we want to know if we can add a HP-UX(Itanium) node with HP-UX 11.23 to the existing two node Oracle 10g R2 RAC on HP-UX (PA-RISC) Servers running HP-UX 11.23.
