Special Characters creeping in CLOB Data readinb via DB LINK

 HI All,
I have one remote database table tab1 having CLOB column containing xml data.

While reading this CLOB column data via DBLink in another oracle db some special characters are creeping in.

Is there any restriction for CLOB dat via dblink and is there a function which will replace all these special characters with null.

I tried using regexp, translate, replace but none of them worked.

I cannot directly see those special characters in database unless I copy them into an excel sheet.

Attached is the sheet which will give you the list of special characters.
