Informatica PowerCenter (OEM) 8.1.1 SP41, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Xen - version conflists

 Hi,
Our version of Informatica PowerCenter (according to consultant anyway) is supposed to run on OEL 4u.4 only, but I find that Xen wants 4.5 or higher.  While I can and have got OEL 4u.4 running successfully on Xen with some problems, I'm wondering what specific components IPC wants that are specific to that version of OEL.  We tried and failed miserably to get IPC running on OES 5.x.

Has anyone got this OEM version of IPC running on a newer distro release, and if so, how?
