Oracle Audit
I have an query about Oracle Audit. I was trying to enable the create session auditing for 9i and 10g databases and i found that USERHOST column is only populated with the Client Host machine name as of 10G, in earlier versions (9i) it is popluating the Numeric instance ID for the Oracle instance from which the user is accessing the database in a RAC environment . I would like to know is it a limitation/bug in earlier versions or is there any other way to extract the userhost name for audited users.
Thanks nad Regards
