Use OTL for non-labor items?

Hi, We have a requirement to register hours of software packages usage by billable employees so they can be charged to the customer at a specific rate per package.

In the current Excel based timecards users register the hours they work as well as the hours they use the software.

Alythough I know that standard OTL only allows Labor Expenditures does anyone know of an option to register non-labor hours through OTL to keep that as a single data entry point?
