R12 Consolidation Mapping Sets

We are implementing R12 and I have been working on consolidation mapping sets. We have a requirement to submit financial data to our parent company using their chart of accounts and use the mapping tool to accomplish that.

We have Company and Intercompany segments defined in our R12 AFF. Both these segments pull from the same value set, since the Intercompany value is the Company number. When I defined the mapping set, I directed both the Company and Intercompany segments of our parent's AFF to pull from our internal Company segment. When we tried to post an entry, the process failed, citing an invalid chart of accounts mapping as the cause.
