GATHER STATS JOB has been running for ever since April 4

 Oracle automatic gather_stats_job has been running for ever since April 4. In the weekday, it has been reached the maintenance window 8 hours then exit, in the weekend, it has been reached the maintenance window 18 hours then exit.
From last Friday April 24, we set this job in parallel running, the parallelism is 8 . On April 24, the job still can not be finished in 8 hours. On April 25, it was finished in 15 hours.
