Prevent OTL users to report time on colsed periods

Hi

I didn't find a TOL group so I don't know if this is the correct community.

How can I prevent TOL users to create time cards for a period that is closed in PA. I'm aware of that the accounting date is set to the closest open period but it still messes up our projekt follow-up.
