What is the functionality of 'Manufacturer', 'Manufacture Date From' and 'Manufacture Date To' in th

I understand that at this moment the field 'Manufacturer' does not have any functionality in the application, but what about fields 'Manufacture Date From' and 'Manufacture Date to"?

If these fields are un useful why do they appear in the screen?, what is the reason?"
