FAILOVER Does not Continue the Running SQL Statments.

Dears,

May i ask you help me catsh the reason for  the following Issue:

I've installed Oracle Rac 10.2.0 and applied 10.2.0.4 patchset, and i did run a 10.2.0.4 Database under that RAC (TWO NODES)

But when i try to check FAILOVER, i find that the SQL STATMENT does not continue running even that the SQL Session which hold that SQL Statment Failedover the another Instance.

I noticed that SQL Statment Can be sucessfully continued only when i run it on instance 1 (i mean if i run that SQL on Inst1 and then issue immediatlly shutdown for inst1, i find that statment continued and the instance_name changed to be INST2)
