Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. I want to upgrade 8.1.7.0 64 bit enterprise, which new version of Oracle should I go with i.e.minima

Our machine is an HPUX 11.00 PA Risc running 64 bit Oracle 8.1.7.0 Enterprise.

We would like to upgrade with minimal impact to our existing applications.

Which version would be the safest one to upgrade too?
