LPN Substitution During Pick-Load

We're on 11.5.10.2 and perform paper-based picking for both sales orders and replenishment.  If there are 2 identical LPN's (same product, qty, etc) in one reservable locator, and one of them gets allocated, is it possible to substitute the other LPN while performing the mobile paper-based pick?  (There are no serial #'s or lot #'s).
