RMAN backup - Help needed

Hi All,
How to take configure RMAN backup in tape.

CONFIGURE DEFAULT DEVICE TYPE TO TAPE;

Need to the configure the above command, after that...

Whether any third party tool required to take the backup or the backup can be taken directly from RMAN. My DB details:

DB Version: Oracle 10.2.0.3.0
O/s: Windows server 2003
Tape Media: Hp Data protector

Kindly guide me how to configure the tape backup.
