Lot serial

 
Here is the need...

We need assign and pin serial numbers (not in continuous)against a lot and we want system to move from one inventory org to another based on the lot. While transacting a full lot we do not want to pick serial manually on the Lot/serial screens.

What are the setup requirements to do this? or any good and comprehensive doc that can be followed to set it according to this requirement.
