System size checks fail despite having enough memory space allocated.
Hey there,
Looks like i have reached a dead-end with this one.
We are trying to upgrade our 11.5.9 EBS to 12.0.4 on an IBM AIX 5.2 system.
Creating the new file system step (with a run of rapid install involved.)
It has been ensured that we have 45GB of free memory available on the disk at all times for the purpose of this upgrade. However, the system checks fail with a "not enough disk space" message.
We just noticed that the other mount point have more than necessary actual space (even 10 times more than required) . Can some one please explain how this partitioning and allocation of memory happens and if we can control it.
