What info are kept in control file when catalog is used for RMAN?

Hello all,

I've read that RMAN information about backups ... etc are still kept in the control file even when a catalog is used, but do you know what these information are?

I think that it contains at least the configuration parameters of RMAN because the SHOW ALL command gets its information from the Control File. But what other information it contains?

I'm interested to know this for RMAN versions 9i and 10g.
