Does 10g rman report block corruption to the rman interface

When either physical or logical corruption is found by rman (10.2.0.4) does this get reported to the rman interface or just the alert.log and V$DATABASE_BLOCK_CORRUPTION ? The only docs I could find referencing this only mentioned 8i/9i but nothing on 10g...
