Depreciation Reserve at Retirement

 I need to take depreciation for the retire month, example

DPIS 12-MAY-2007

STL Method 4 Years

Cost 5000 USD

Prorrate convention nex month 01-jun-2007

the current period is May 2009, if I with prorrate convention daily the depreciation reserve is until april 2009. I need to take also may, and I need to retire the asset in the current period, what can I need to do to take depreciation amount for the period of retirement??
