Odd behaviour on Cluster Listeners

 Hi,
I found the listener down on node#2. When I tried to start it (using both srvctl and lsnrctl) I got:
  TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
     TNS-00583: Valid node checking: unable to parse configuration parameters
After several attempts at fixing this, I used netca to blow away the listeners on both sides ans re-create.
The problem is still there.
I can ping the priv and vip from all directions.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be happening?
