Hi

My question is best explained through an example. We are running R12, with Australian Legislation. We have an ordinary hours payment element setup as follows:

ET Ordinary Hours - Non Recurring - Earnings - Input Value of 'Hours' and a 'Pay Value'. The element is attached to a formula which looks for a hourly rate in a rate table and multiplies the hourly rate by the number of hours and outputs to the Pay Value.

This element has a corresponding retro element called 'RET Ordinary Hours', which has an input value of 'Pay Value'.

We are running a monthly payroll. Assume we process 20hrs through the ET Ordinary Hours element (with hourly rate of $20/hr) in July 2009. $400 is then paid out to the employee as July-2009 pay. The earnings section of the SOE displays:
