How can a customer can be create as a supplier as well

Hi Guys

In R12, I have created customer with name of " Q.A & Co. " now I want to create this customer as a supplier in Accounts Payable module because we are purchasing  some products from this customer as well.

I have noticed that if supplier is created first in AP module in R12 , it can be seen in customer form automatically but if customer is created first then it can not be viewed by user in Supplier form in AP module.

looking for your prompt help in this regard.
