Hi

I am upgrading from 10.1.0.3 to 10.2.0.4 and have installed 10.2.0.1 followed by the patchset 10.2.0.4 and the April Critical update. I am now ready to upgrade the database but when I ran the preupgrade information tool I got this message:

WARNING: --> The database has not been patched to release 10.1.0.3.0.
... Run catpatch.sql prior to upgrading.

However SQL> select banner from v$version; returns:

BANNER
----------------------------------------------------------------
Oracle Database 10g Release 10.1.0.3.0 - Production
PL/SQL Release 10.1.0.3.0 - Production
CORE    10.1.0.3.0      Production
TNS for 32-bit Windows: Version 10.1.0.3.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 10.1.0.3.0 - Production

SQL> select instance_name, version from V$instance;
