Change of db_block_size

Hi All, We are trying to modify the current db_block_size to 16K from 4K. Could some body help to know the risks involved in this and the best approach to be followed to change the block size. Mine is 800GB database with lots of LONG and LOB columns.

And another thing, can i also get commands to check the OS block size on

AIX 5.3 and Linux linserver 2.6.18-92.el5
