ASM I/O failures and HUNG disks
Hello:
We have a RAC installation: Linux 64bits, Oracle 10gR2.
We experienced temporary i/o problems and as a result Oracle dropped disk from diskgroups. As diskgroups have normal redundancy dropped disks stay in HUNG state. All ok, our problem is that we added disk back to recover normal redundancy but even now we are unable to drop disks in hung state:
