Create Accounting unable to find the accounting events to process it to SLA.

HiAll, I am a newbie to R12 and I am trying to understand the functionality of the Create Accounting concurrent program. Basically what I am trying to do is to create a transaction in AR, and run create accounting program, so that I could see the corresponding Journal Entry creation in SLA for the same transaction.

So I created a transaction, Complete'd it and then ran the Create Accounting Program. The program completed in warning sometimes and in success sometimes and the log file is too long to make out anything out of it (I tried both Online and offline processing). However what I see is that it says it did not find the accounting events to process this transaction.  I tried to click on the tools=> view accounting lines and it says the  no accounting lines are generated.
