Laying down the new 9i Oracle Home

Hi,
I'm in the process of upgrading our EBS from 11.5.7 to 11.5.10.2.  Part of this is to upgrade the DB from 8i to 9i. The interoperability note, 216550.1 states that you can install 9i directly by running Rapid Install and specifying the "-techstack" option.  As I don't have the 11.5.10 media does anyone know if it would be OK to use 11.5.9 instead from a staging area?

And on another note, this maybe a silly question, but can you apply the latest Rapid Install patch (11.5.10.35) over the 11.5.9 startCD?
