Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Why there are 2 Homes in R12 with Oracle IAS server

I am bit confused about why there are 2 separate home in R12 with 10g R2 and with R3.

Can't this be maintained by make use of 10g R3 for HTTP server and well as forms functionality too.

AS I believe higher version R3 encompasses all the features its lower version i.eR12.

Can any one please clarify more on this point?
