oracle RAC on HP-UX 11.23 itanium

 Dears,

I have an installation for oracle cluster and database in comming days on HP-UX 11.23 itanium based, when i preparing my self to do the installation without service guard i notice that some of people says i have to use service guard and other says no need , and i have to decide if use it or not .

So can anybody tell me what is best solution !!

Also anybody have good experiance in RAC on this platform to guied me cause this is first time i will install oracle cluster and database on HP-UX itanium based .

Note that :

the storage is LVM
