BRM - Clarification of Vaious time factors involved

Hi All,

I have been triyng to implement some Automated mail system for Tasks unassigned to a Resource.
I have actually achieved it but do not really understand how and when the email notifications are sent.

Let me explain what I have done as a test case.

a) Run WBP (Workflow Backgroud Process) for Main process; scheduled to run every 15 Mins.
b) Run WBP (Workflow Backgroud Process) for tasks; scheduled to run every 20 Mins.
c) Business Rule Monitor Time interval is 5 Min
d) Defined a test Rule in BRW (Business Rule Workbench) with Check interval as 30 Min and tolerance as 0 Min.
