2 databases abnormally discovered by OEM Agent 10g
Hello,
Context: database version Oracle 10g - OEM agent 10g, server unix Solaris 5.9
Only one database exists and is up on the server.
The existing database has been restored on another server (from this remote server), using RMAN in catalog mode to restore first the controlfile.
When restoration completed on remote server (RMAN in nocatalog mode), the restored database has been renamed with a new dbid (nid tool).
And from now the OEM agent 10g discovers 2 databases on the server:
- the existing one,
- the restored one on remote server.
Have you already encountered this type of problem?
Could you tell me how the OEM agent 10g discovers the databases?
