exporting table (SR list ) to Excel: problem with date format

 Hello

When exporting a table to Excel (such as Sr list), the dates (open date, update date, close date) are  paste as text  with  US format such as "May 27 2009".
When using a  non US Excel version (french for instance) this format is not  recognized in the  Excel shhet  and then prevent  from using any sort  on dates.

Can you please have the  date format exported as mm/dd/yy or dd/mm/yy so non US excel versions  can handle them ?
