Assets and serial number

 Hi,

How can we handle the serial numbers of an asset.  By example, an asset HP-Printers has 100 units assigned. Each printer has its own serial number. When we have to retire some, we do not have a trace of wich one has been retire.  If we print reports for assets we can't reconcile the one in the system with a physical inventory.

We do not want to define 100 printer assets. We have few assets like that.
