HR Jobs --> Roles --> Resources

 HI. I need to understand the relationship between jobs to roles to resources. Currently the way, the old consulting team designed this structure, was roles are pointing to the jobs, and resources are pointing to the jobs. I think the standard functionality has the resources pointing to the roles and roles pointing to the jobs.
We are really struggling with this concept. Someone out there who knows how and the best way to set this up is??
