Metrics executed from the agent

Hello,

I have created a scheduled job on a particular monitored targert.

I' d like to monitor the duration of this job, let say for example that the job is scheduled twice a day, there is no way creating a user defined metrics scheduled every hours. But maybe it could possible to create the UDM on the oms and triggered it from the agent ?

is there a way to execute the user defined metric on the target (when the job is ended) giving the oms the duration result.

It is a quite different approach as an usual utilization of the udm. A user defined metric is defined and scheduled through the oms, is it possible for a target to execute its own metric (maybe previously defined with the oms) and upload its result ?
