Sales Order for ATO Model Item is stuck in the status of Booked. Unable to create configuration elig

 Created a sales order for an ATO Model Item. Selected the Configurator from Sales Order ( Lines Tab) and then selected the configuration. Saved the sales order. Booked it. The status of the Sales Order is booked. But when trying to Progresss the Order through Actions > Progress Order > Create Configuarion Eligible..the system throws an user defined exception.

Upon  viewing the workflow status from Tools > system shows error for create configuraion workflow.
