PAY: EOY Patch

 Hi

I am new to the EOY payroll processes

why do we have to wait to almost 2 weeks before the end of financial year until oracle relase what called EOY patch then install it, test, and then start the EOY process.

what's on that patch that we can't run the EOY without it!!!!!!!!
