Sharing approval notifications between users

 Hello,

We need to find a way to allow different users having the same position to share notifications.  By example, 2 employees having a clerk position on 2 shifts during the day.  One finishing the work ot the other one. So one would have to acces the notifications of the other one to approve.

How can we handle that?  Special functions in workflow menu?  A kind of group? 

We have also to keep a trace of the login user.
