Audit dump destination question

 We are running 10.2.0.2 RAC on Linux x86-64.  Question is when the audit_dump_dest is set, why am I still getting .aud files put in he default location ORACLE_HOME/RDBMS/AUDIT and in the audit_dump_dest location?  Thanks!
