How to default the schedule ship date basd on the shipping calendar assigned to the customer?

Hi All, 

We have created a shipping calendar and assigned to the customer site. This calendar has wednesday as the working day which means delivery happens only on wednesdays to this customer. But when i book the sales order for the customer the schedule ship date is not referred from the shipping calendar.

Any suggestions in this regard is appreciated.
